Policy
Privacy policy
Effective October 13, 2026
Sandgame does not collect, store or share personal information. It is a falling-sand toy for iPhone and iPad. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not talk to any server of ours. There isn't one.
What stays on your device
- Your worlds. Everything you make is saved in the app's own storage on your device, with a backup copy so a crash can't lose it. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Your settings. Brush size, speed and similar preferences are stored on the device.
- What you've bought. The app remembers which elements and packs you own so they work offline. It stores only Apple's product identifiers, nothing about you.
Purchases
Elements and packs are one-time purchases made through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and holds your purchase history; we never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's privacy policy. Purchases support Family Sharing, and Restore Purchases asks Apple, not us, what you own.
Sharing
Sharing is always your choice and always goes through the system share sheet. You can save a picture of your world to your photo library (the app asks for permission to add photos, and never reads them) or send a .sandgame world file by AirDrop, Messages, Mail or any other app. Opening a world someone sent you reads only that file. Nothing is uploaded anywhere by the app itself.
Diagnostics
Sandgame has a performance log for development. It is off unless the app is launched with a developer setting, and even then the log is written only to the device and leaves it only if you tap Share log yourself. We receive no crash reports or usage data unless you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's Settings; Apple describes that choice in its own policy.
Children
Sandgame collects no data from anyone, including children. It is rated for all ages and shows no ads.
Changes
If the app ever starts handling data differently, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described in the App Store release notes.
